醫生曾嚴禁丹妮懷孕，她卻意外誕下雙胞胎，命運的轉折讓母子三人接連離世。在柬埔寨傳統火葬儀式籌備期間，殯葬師與僧侶按習俗處理后事，卻接連遭遇毛骨悚然的怪事。停尸間的異響、誦經時的異常干擾、遺體旁的詭異痕跡不斷出現，亡者的怨念在火葬場蔓延，原本肅穆的超度儀式，逐漸淪為被恐懼吞噬的死亡現場。
