The duo become a trio as well-to-do Lou joins them, and life on the island takes shape under the command of devout Matron. The trio rail against the system, dubious of the benevolence of the bible and taking refuge in their blossoming friendship. It’s hard to reform girls who don’t believe they need reforming. However, a sense of doom settles in when experimental forms of punishment take place in the dead of night. Nellie and Daisy plot rebellion, but unexpectedly find themselves at odds with Lou, who is afraid to break the rules.

 1942年的冀中平原、日本憲兵漢奸、偽警察等數(shù)百人包圍了東王莊，敵人架起機槍瘋狂掃射，橫尸遍野、慘不忍睹。聞訊趕來的武工隊員們按捺不住心中的怒火，紛紛向隊長魏強請戰(zhàn)，為鄉(xiāng)親們報仇。魏強率領(lǐng)武工隊化裝成偽警察進城，巧妙地活捉了中閭鎮(zhèn)偽警察所所長哈巴狗，并將其帶回東王莊準(zhǔn)備公審。趁人們歡慶中，哈巴狗跑回保定城，向夜襲隊長劉魁勝報告，卻見劉魁勝正在調(diào)戲自己的老婆小紅云。哈巴狗給劉魁勝一個嘴巴，劉魁勝反咬一口，誣哈巴狗私通武工隊。為了保住命，哈巴狗只好把老婆讓給了劉魁勝。保定南關(guān)火車戰(zhàn)長小本次郎也對哈巴狗老婆小紅云垂涎三尺，他派段長萬長順去請小紅云到站上說書，小紅云不肯屈服，用剪刀割腕自殺身亡。劉魁勝對日本人敢怒而不敢言，魏強利用他們的矛盾，夜襲車站將小本次郎和段長萬長順殺死。松田將他們的死歸咎于劉魁勝，殺死了他，并命哈巴狗任夜襲隊長。最后武工隊掃平了侵襲隊，擊斃了哈巴狗，又炸毀了憲兵隊總部為鄉(xiāng)親們報了仇，大長了人民抗日的士氣。

A brilliant scientist, Dr. Roche, perches high above a stormy sea, inventing a powerful explosive, when he and his assistant are kidnapped by an evil businessman, Artigas. Taken by submarine to Artigas' volcano headquarters, Roche is tricked into developing his experiment for evil intentions. The scientist’s assistant, Simon, struggles all the while to free himself and warn Roche. A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards.
