　　本片為邵氏一部很經典的早期恐怖作品,導演孫仲把一個普通的冤鬼復仇的故事拍得百轉千回扣人心弦.不光極盡恐怖驚悚邪異奇幻之能事,還幾乎都是打著諷喻人世間情仇愛恨的招魂幡做警示恒言,這也增加了影片在故事上的可看度以及現實感.本片掛靠著尸變,紅衣厲鬼,僵尸的元素上演了一段復仇戲碼,小鎮就幾乎像是當時香港社會的縮影
