1）魔術師但丁依靠神秘的斗篷在時尚都會掙下超高的人氣，但是斗篷中藏著可怕的秘密，但丁則用錄像記錄下了一切。直到某天助理斯卡莉特將錄像帶交給警方，一切昭然若揭；2）野生科學家阿方索制造了一個連通平行空間的大門，他和另一個世界的自己交換空間，到對方的世界進行15分鐘的探險，卻發現彼此的世界有著天壤之別。3）三個熱衷做極限運動的年輕人偶然來到一處畫著神秘圖案的場所玩耍，不知不覺中遭到一群恐怖之人的包圍和襲擊；夜幕下的城市突然響起刺耳的警笛聲，警方和瘋狂逃跑的冰淇淋車展開奪命追逐。卡文和女友艾瑞絲外出張望，誰知一轉眼艾瑞絲竟消失不見，卡文瘋了一般四下尋找。現代化的社會，人們依賴影像大刷存在感，卻都變成了轉瞬即逝的數據碎片……

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
